                                    44 Super Turtle Public Company Limited12.5 Sustainability Management in Environmental Dimension 12.5.1 Environment policies and practicesThe Company acknowledges the severity of the global warming and climate change, and views that the business sector plays a crucial role in mitigating these issues. Therefore, the Company places an importance on conducting its business responsibly towards the environment. It is committed to reduce the negative impact on the environment resulting from the Company%u2019s work and business processes, procedures and activities. The Company sets operating principles relating to environmental concerns, including water usage and energy efficiency, as well as waste management and minimization.12.5.2 Environmental Performance1. Resources utilizationWith the aim of environmental conservation and energy efficiency, the Company has set guidelines to enhance resource utilization by encouraging employees at all levels to use resources wisely and to maximize efficiency, including:%u2022 Waste reduction following the principles of 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).%u2022 Minimization of electricity consumption, such as reducing the number of lamps, turning the lamps on sparingly, turning off the lights during lunch breaks and before leaving, turning off computer screens when not in use, regularly monitoring and maintaining the electrical equipment in the workplace. %u2022 Minimization of water consumption by regularly checking for water supply pipe leaks to reduce the risk of future water shortages.%u2022 Minimization of paper consumption by utilizing both sides of the paper, printing only necessary documents, preparing and filing documents and reports such as meeting documents electronically, improving online work processes and sending documents via e-mail, which will also facilitates information retrieval.%u2022 Reduction of single-use plastic. Turtle shop%u2019s customers are able to use their personal cup for their visit at all Turtle shops. This initiative aims to reduce single-use plastic consumption.In 2024, the Company participated in meetings with government agencies regarding the draft Sustainable Packaging Management Act. This act aims to support and participate in creating a system for collecting and recycling used packaging, or repurposing it into other products, in order to reduce the amount of waste that leaks into the environment.2. Waste Management and MinimizationAlthough the Company does not directly produce products, the Company has processes in place to manage and minimize the amount of waste generated in the Company%u2019s operations to the lowest possible level. This includes managing production orders, including: %u2022 Ordering products for sale at Turtle shop in sufficient and suitable quantities by referencing and analyzing each product%u2019s turnover rate, prepared by the Company, to minimize damage from expired goods distributed at Turtle shops.%u2022 Implementing a %u201cReduced To Clear Program%u201d for fresh food products at Turtle shop in the evening of each day to reduce the amount of food loss and waste.%u2022 Increasing green space for earth by sharing coffee grounds from Turtle Cafe%u2019 as fertilizer to its customer and anyone.Introduction Nature of Business Business Performance Corporate Information Corporate Governance Financial Report Attachment
